Apparently, Pakistan has a feed in tariff, but it is a secret.
Here is why...
According to our information, the tariff shall allow producers to cover generation costs - but that is not specified
this is supposed to include operation and maintenance costs, return on equity and debt servicing... But the levels are not specified.
It is also supposedly indexed to certain economic characteristics - but what those characteristics are is a mystery.
Although two things are specified - the system is a net metering scheme for excess energy, and the total capacity is aimed to reached 9,700MWp including wind and hydro power.
Now we are so well informed, we can all jump for joy. Or we can search for more specific information and make an informed decision.
Perhaps these websites might help.
