The Australian Capital Territory has the most generous feed in tariff in Australia. The energy produced is metered separately from usage, so all actual generation will be bought at the premium rate for 20 years. This is a great program and the best possible example for Australian efforts to increase the use of their most abundant resource... Solar energy.
The rate is attractive for both private customers and investors who wish to turn a profit over a reasonable time period. The estimation at present for ROI is 5 years, with 15 years of added value. They can try, but the other territories cant beat that with a stick.
